Privacy Policy ​

This Privacy Policy explains how ServerlessInsight (operated by an independent developer, "we") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Service. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. Scope of This Policy ​

This policy applies to the ServerlessInsight console, CLI, API, and the marketing website. It does not apply to third-party services accessed through links from our site (for example, the payment page operated by our Merchant of Record, which is governed by the processor's own privacy terms).

2. How We Collect Your Personal Information ​

2.1 Information you actively provide:

  • Account information: your email address, used for verification-code sign-in and transactional notices;
  • Billing information: top-up and consumption records; for the China line, invoice title information (name/tax ID) you submit for invoicing;
  • Product content: the infrastructure you declare and manage through the Service — serverlessinsight.yml declarations, deployment records and state, configuration sets, and audit-log entries you generate.

2.2 Information automatically collected: IP address, request timestamps, user agent, and operation logs generated as you use the Service, for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect passwords (sign-in uses one-time verification codes), and we do not run advertising trackers inside the product.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information ​

  • to provide, operate, and secure the Service (authentication, deployments, configuration management);
  • to bill accurately: maintain the ledger of top-ups, deductions, arrears, and refunds;
  • to send transactional notices: verification codes, payment confirmations, low-balance warnings, billing notices;
  • to comply with law and enforce the Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party marketing.

4. How We Share and Transfer Information ​

We share personal information only with:

  • Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia) / Waffo (Waffo.com Limited, Hong Kong) — our Merchants of Record — process payments, receipts, taxes, and refunds. They receive the transaction data necessary for that purpose and act as independent controllers of the payment;
  • Alibaba Cloud — hosting of the application and managed PostgreSQL database;
  • Email delivery provider — sends verification codes and transactional notices;
  • Google Analytics — on the marketing website only (not the product); you may opt out via your browser settings.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the Service and its users.

5. How We Protect Your Personal Information ​

  • TLS for data in transit; secret-type configuration items are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM;
  • least-privilege access to production data; production access is limited to the operator;
  • security incidents, once confirmed, are notified to affected users and competent authorities as required by applicable law.

6. How You Manage Your Personal Information ​

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and withdraw consent, by contacting support@wentsen.com; we respond within three (3) business days. Deleting your account deletes your profile and product content, except for financial ledger records that we must retain for accounting and tax purposes (see Section 7).

7. Storage of Your Personal Information ​

  • Account and product data are stored for as long as your account exists, and deleted upon verified account-deletion requests;
  • financial records (ledger entries, invoices/receipts) are retained as long as required by accounting and tax rules, even after account deletion — they contain transaction amounts, timestamps, and identifiers, not product content;
  • audit and security logs are retained per the platform's retention policy.

8. Use of Cookies and Local Storage ​

We use only functional storage: a session token (HttpOnly cookie), and local storage remembering your selected organization/application. The marketing website uses Google Analytics cookies; the product itself does not.

9. Minors' Information ​

The Service is not directed to minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect minors' personal information; accounts identified as belonging to minors will be removed.

10. Global Transfer of Information ​

Your information is stored on Alibaba Cloud servers located in mainland China. When you make a payment, transaction data is processed by the Merchant of Record outside mainland China. By using the Service, you understand and agree to these storage and processing locations. We do not otherwise transfer personal information across borders.

11. How This Policy Is Updated ​

Material changes to this policy will be announced on the site (and by email for significant changes) before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acknowledgment.
