Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

ServerlessInsight is an internet software service (hereinafter referred to as "ServerlessInsight") operated by an independent developer (hereinafter referred to as "we"). These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") constitute an agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "User") and us regarding your access to and use of ServerlessInsight and related services (hereinafter referred to as "the Service").

Before creating an account and using the Service, you must read and agree to this Agreement. By registering, logging in, or using the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement in its entirety.

1. Service Content

ServerlessInsight provides multi-cloud serverless infrastructure management capabilities, including: declarative infrastructure-as-code, deployments and state management, configuration and secret management, and observability. Specific features evolve with product releases. Some features require a paid plan or a prepaid balance (see Section 11).

2. Accounts

2.1 You register and sign in with an email address and verification codes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account.

2.2 API keys issued to you are equivalent to your credentials. Keep them safe; treat any leakage as a security incident and rotate them immediately.

2.3 One person or legal entity may operate accounts in accordance with these Terms. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Use of the Service

3.1 You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement. You must not:

  • use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or infringing activities;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
  • abuse the Service in a way that degrades it for other users (including abnormal load and automated scraping beyond documented interfaces).

3.2 The Service does not provide AI-generative features.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 You retain all rights to the content you declare and deploy through the Service (including serverlessinsight.yml declarations, configuration, and application code).

4.2 The Service itself — software, interfaces, trademarks, and documentation — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. The core of the platform is open-source software under its own license; nothing in this Agreement changes that license.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. Please read them.

6. Data and Information Security

6.1 We apply commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS in transit, encryption for secret-type configuration items (AES-256-GCM), and least-privilege access.

6.2 You are responsible for the sensitive values you declare in your own configuration files (for example, function environment variables). We recommend storing secrets as encrypted config-set items instead of plain YAML.

6.3 No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We will notify affected users of confirmed security incidents to the extent required by applicable law.

7. Disclaimer

7.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7.2 We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. You are responsible for backing up your own data and validating deployments before promoting them to production.

8. Service Changes, Interruption and Termination

8.1 We may add, change, or remove features. Material reductions to paid features will be announced in advance.

8.2 We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement. Where possible, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy.

8.3 If we terminate the Service materially, unconsumed prepaid balance will be handled under the Refund Policy.

9. Modification of These Terms

We may revise this Agreement as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email at least seven (7) days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Special Provisions for Minors

The Service is not directed to minors under 18. If you are a minor, please do not create an account; a guardian should contact us to remove any account created by a minor.

11. Payments, Billing and Refunds

11.1 Paid plans and prepaid balances are sold through our Merchants of Record. For payments in USD, the merchant of record is Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia): Creem collects the payment, calculates, collects, and remits VAT/GST/sales tax where applicable, issues the receipt in its own name, and handles payment disputes. Charges on your bank or card statement may appear under the name of Creem. An alternative merchant of record, Waffo (Waffo.com Limited, Hong Kong), may be used for certain payment channels. Payments made in CNY on the China line are processed through Alipay and are subject to the same terms.

11.2 Prepaid balance model. The Service uses a prepaid balance: you top up a balance in advance, and all consumption (monthly plan charges and pay-as-you-go usage, computed on the Accountable Metric of Record "AMR") is deducted from that balance. Your available balance equals the sum of successfully credited top-ups minus deductions.

11.3 Billing cycle. On the billing closing day of each month, the previous month's bill is charged to your balance. If the balance is insufficient, the shortfall is recorded as arrears: existing resources keep running, new resource creation is paused, and your next top-up is applied to the arrears first. Your balance can never go negative.

11.4 Plan changes. Upgrades take effect immediately after a balance check covering the prorated current month. Downgrades are scheduled and take effect at the start of the next billing period. There is no automatic subscription renewal: the next period is charged to your prepaid balance only.

11.5 Balance validity. Your prepaid balance does not expire.

11.6 Refunds of unconsumed balance follow the Refund Policy, which forms part of this Agreement.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 The conclusion, effectiveness, interpretation, revision, and dispute resolution of this Agreement are governed by the laws of mainland of the People's Republic of China. Where the law contains no relevant provision, commercial practice applies.

12.2 Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring the case before a court of competent jurisdiction.

12.3 If you use the Service for any illegal or infringing activity, you bear full responsibility for the consequences and for any losses caused to us or third parties.

13. Contact Us

For questions about this Agreement or the Service: support@wentsen.com. We respond within three (3) business days.

14. Other Provisions

If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. Section headings are for convenience only. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. This Agreement is written in Chinese and English; in case of conflict, the Chinese version prevails.
